Passing through Iceland at the speed of light

This video is like no other video I’ve seen. As I watched it for the first time I was waiting to see what multimillion dollar company would put their logo at the end of what I thought must be a really expensive commercial. Turns out this is not an ad, but a project by Ólafur Haraldsson, Kristian Ulrich Larsen and the Kolding School of Design.

Notable locations in the video include Jökulsárlón lagoon, Lake Mývatn, Dyrhólaey cliff, Skógafoss waterfall, Hvítserkur cliff, Svartifoss waterfall and Seljalandsfoss waterfall. All of them are easy to get to if you’re up for it.
